David Carroll vs Cambridge Analytica

David Carroll is an associate professor at Parsons School of Design in New York.  Carroll found that he could sue Cambridge Analytica to obtain access to his information in Britain. Cambridge Analytica, was a political data firm that offered tools that could identify the personalities of American voters and influence their behavior. Carroll filed suit in March 2018 with the high court in London to recover his data and reveal its source.  Learn more about what he accomplished.
