One of the most common Create Lists questions fielded by the PALS Staff is the question of how to create a weeding list. In this hands-on workshop, the PALS Staff will walk you through creating these lists according to your own custom criteria. Bring along an example of the parameters you would like to use for your weeding list, and we will run the list on the spot and email it back to you for later use. If time allows, we will also cover how to create a list for taking inventory of a collection, and answer any questions you may have about Create Lists in general. This workshop is for library staff who are already comfortable using Create Lists for simple reports (New items, new patrons, etc) and have some familiarity with the codes their library uses in their item records.
As space is limited, we ask that only one person per library sign up. We will offer the session again at a later date as demand requires.
