According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA, 1990) , public Libraries are required to make their programs and services accessible to all. There is much more to accessibility than just having a ramp and an elevator. All library staff, from custodial to Director, play a role in ensuring that the public library is useable and enjoyable by all, including people with disabilities.
