Professional Development 8 Hours and a Certificate of Completion for those who attend all four classes

This 4 week course will cover:

  • Class 1 - Feb 23 2PM Introduction – The Role of a Successful Manager, Motivating Staff and Delegating Responsibilities
  • Class 2 - March 2 2 PM Personnel Management
  • Class 3 - March 9 2 PM Finance and Budgets
  • Class 4 - March 23 2 PM Legal Issues and Class Summary

These classes will be instructed by one of three Suffolk County library directors: Kevin Verbesey (SCLS), Debra Engelhardt (Comsewogue Public Library) or Mike Firestone (Bayport-Blue Point Public Library)
