The cost of the course is $150 per staff member and will be billed to the library from SCLS
The class is accepted by the Suffolk County Department of Health
Includes Study Materials
Includes the Food Safe exam
On Passing the exam - You will be rewarded the ServSafe certificate which is good for 3 years in Suffolk County.

Lunch on your own

Instructor:  Margaret Dixon is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University.  She has a bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management.  She is a previous employee of Nassau County Department of Health where she worked in the Office of Food Protection for over 10 years.  She has also received an extensive education in Nutrition at Queens College. Margaret is also a co-owner of New York Food Safety Consulting.
