Dr. Turner –Lee is a fellow at the Brookings Institutes’ Governance Studies and Center for Technology Innovation, her most notable work was her development of the first national minority broadband adoption study in 2009 that was later cited in the congressionally mandated Federal Communications Commission’s National Broadband Plan.
Dr. Turner –Lee will re-define and broaden the definition of the digital divide. Themes will include:
• Digital Divide, what it means and why it is so important to bridge the gap.
• 5th Generation Mobile Networks i.e. 5G
• Artificial Intelligence
• And finally the Importance of the 2020 Census
