Professional Development: 1 Hour

Youth Connect is an OLA initiative created to help adolescents handle emotional challenges in middle and high school. Their free, confidential, and anonymous text/phone line connects teens with a trained crisis counselor in Spanish or English.

Youth Connect serves the East End of Suffolk County. Library staff members from these libraries are invited to hear about the organization and how libraries can pair up with them for programming.
