Professional Development 1.5 Hours   As libraries closed their physical spaces in response to COVID-19 and CDC recommendations for physical distancing, library staff pivoted quickly to transform their services and to move public programming to digital platforms. Creating and hosting meaningful and engaging programs in a virtual environment provides many unique opportunities to engage audiences in new ways. However, it also presents a new set of challenges.  Some in-person programs can be transformed to the virtual environment with ease, while others may take considerable time and effort to adapt.  There are many options for providing virtual programs but figuring out what will work best for your community can be a challenge.  By the end of this webinar attendees will:
• Be familiar with best practices for converting in-person programs (both participatory and passive) to virtual
• Be familiar with tools and resources for virtual programs.
• Gain a better understanding of what types of data can be collected to drive future decisions for virtual programs REGISTER
