Event Details
Join representatives from a variety of organizations that provide programs and services to people living with memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, their families and caregivers. All library staff are welcome and encouraged to participate, as these health conditions impact everyone in the family, and we would like to get your feedback on what type of resources you need to better serve your patrons who are living with these challenges. Representatives from the following organizations will be joining us: · Alzheimer’s Association · Day Haven Adult Services · Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center · Stony Brook Medicine Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease · Parker Jewish Institute · VA Caregivers Support (TBD)
