How to be an Effective Public Library Trustee

This program will present an overview of the duties and responsibilities of public library trustees and offer ideas on how to be an effective trustee.  Areas under discussion will include library types, library meetings, Board officers, Board meetings, reports (including financial, personnel and State), committees, working with the library administration, and a review of the key challenges and issues facing public libraries in 2017.
