As you know the number of cases of domestic violence in our country is staggering, and sadly during the pandemic, the numbers have grown exponentially; leaving individuals and families in need of safe shelter, emergency and supplemental nutrition resources, and the tools to rebuild their lives. Libraries can play a significant role in this effort. Representatives from Long Island Against Domestic Violence will provide a presentation that can help us better understand the dynamics of domestic violence and what libraries can do to provide information and services that will be beneficial to the rebuilding process.
