Professional Development 4 Hours for each session in the five session series.

Library Carpentry focuses on building software and data skills within library- and information-related communities. Their goal is to empower people in these roles to use software and data in their own work and to become advocates for and train others in efficient, effective and reproducible data and software practices.

Introduction to Working With Data & Tidy Data: introduces people with library- and information-related roles to working with data using regular expressions. The lesson provides background on the regular expression language and how it can be used to match and extract text and to clean data.
