LI Against Domestic Violence & the Suffolk County Sheriffs Office will be providing a workshop on the close connection between domestic violence and gun violence. The presentation will include general information on the issue of domestic violence with emphasis on how the presence of guns and other forms of violence present an increased risk for survivor safety. Additionally, there will be information provided on the ways LIADV & Sheriff’s Office work together to combat this issue, and follow-up resources for library staff and materials to share with your community
