Always wanted to start an Oral History Collection, but not sure where to start?
Join us Januray 17, 2018 at 10am at SCLS for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to use the Zoom audio recorder. Bring along interview questions to practice conducting a live interview. We'll review best practices, how to recruit participants, and recommendations on how to store your audio files.
SCLS will provide the audio recorders which can be loaned out through the lending library after the workshop. Library staff using the equipment need to complete the StoryCorps DIY course before attending this workshop. The StoryCorps DIY course will provide you with valuable resources and guidance on how to conduct an interview.
