4 Hours of Professional Development
This 3 session online training (March 15th, 16th and 17th) by NDIA covers four primary topics:

Introduction to Digital Inclusion and Equity  
Understanding Learner Needs
Data Collection and Analysis
Resource and Skill-Sharing

This session is one of three.  You must attend all three days for full credit.

Digital navigators are trusted guides who assist community members in internet adoption and the use of computing devices. Digital navigation services include ongoing assistance with affordable internet access, device acquisition, technical skills, and application support.

 

The T.E.C.H. (Teaching Everyone Connectivity Hub) project is supported with federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to the New York State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).  The grant was administered by the Long Island Library Resources Council.
