SEE FOR YOURSELF: Assistive Technology and Resource Fair for People Living with Vision Loss
This event is FREE and open to the public.
Each library was sent a batch of flyers. Please let valerie@suffolknet.org know if you would like flyers emailed to you so you may print additional copies for your patrons.
We encourage all library administration and staff to visit during the day. Many of the exhibitors will have assistive technology that will make your library more accessible to people living iwh vision loss and to people with learning disabilities. As many of the visitors to the fair are seniors, we also plan to have resources for people living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, as well as a couple of products for people living with hearing loss.
This year three Suffolk County Public Libraries will be hosting a table at the fair to highlight their library's accessible programs and services.
Visit SCLS anytime between 9am and 3pm. Leave yourself at least an hour and a half to visit all of the exhibitors.
