Program Description
Event Details
One of the many challenges faced by every community is how to deal with the mental health disabilities that are facing our co-workers, neighbors, family, friends and patrons. Because this issue is so prevalent, it is good to know that there are many resources available, and that we can make available to our communities.
Please join us for the quarterly meetings of the Mental Health Resources Working Group.
Please note: This is not a place to discuss any mental health challenges you or a patron may be having, rather, it is a group that will meet to discuss resources that you may already have in your collection, and resources you may wish to add to your collection, to address the mental health needs of people living in your community.
Mental Health disabilities effects people of all ages, and continue to grow across the country, as people are faced with overwhelming daily situations that are impacting their health and well-being. Therefore, we want to learn about your resources, programs and services, and talk about how we can best use these resources, and how we can add to what is already being offered in the public libraries.
