Opioid Overdose Resuscitation Training Presenter: Robert Delagi, Director of Suffolk County EMS This training is designed for non-traditional responders and meets New York State Department of Health requirements that include recognition of opioid overdose, administration of intra-nasal NARCAN, and steps to take until EMS arrives. The goal of the class is to shorten the critical time period between discovery of an opioid overdose and administration of Narcan, a lifesaving antidote. Participants will receive a certificate of completion / authorization card and an emergency resuscitation kit that includes NARCAN, at no cost.   Registration is Required
