Join ACCESSforALL for Disability Awareness 101: Demystifying Disabilities! This professional development workshop offers an introduction to understanding disabilities, providing insight into the experiences of people with disabilities, and equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to deliver accessible guest services. The workshop includes a review of foundational disability terminology, a discussion of discrimination against people with disabilities, and an exploration of disability etiquette best practices defined by the community. ACCESSforALL’s team of accessibility professionals will provide a judgment-free space to explore disabilities in an educational setting. The workshop will conclude with an open discussion and Q&A.
