BRING DESIGN-THINKING TO YOUR LIBRARY!

Increasingly, schools, governments, organizations, and businesses are looking to the field of design to help them solve complex problems. When we design solutions collaboratively, intentionally, and with our users in mind, there is no problem we can't solve!

In this three hour hands-on workshop, participants will get exposure to the design process by modifying a classic game. They will apply design-thinking mindsets - such as getting to know the user, testing, and iteration - to help them think about a pernicious challenge in their own work at their libraries.

Join presenter Sara Vogel, a PhD student in Urban Education, to learn and brainstorm ways to encourage your patrons to use design-thinking in order to address issues important to them.
